Tasting notes
- Fruity, but could be stronger.
- Sourness is there at the end but the sweetness overpowers the start
Lessons
- I think it’s too acidic, 48 hours was enough souring.
- Let it drop to -1C by mistake so eisbocked a little bit. probably ~4.2% now.
- Left for 2 days before adding CO2 pressure to let the beer relax after its traumatic siphoning.
- Inline filter when siphoing helped clear the beer.
- Too much Irish moss will prevent head retention. 1g is enough.
- Don’t forget to prepare a couple of bottles for racking day
- Glitter sinks to the bottom, best saved for a glass that can be poured in one go
- Must try again
