  • Experiment with glitter in beer 🙂

Tasting notes

  • Fruity, but could be stronger.
  • Sourness is there at the end but the sweetness overpowers the start

Lessons

  • I think it’s too acidic, 48 hours was enough souring.
  • Let it drop to -1C by mistake so eisbocked a little bit. probably ~4.2% now.
  • Left for 2 days before adding CO2 pressure to let the beer relax after its traumatic siphoning.
  • Inline filter when siphoing helped clear the beer.
  • Too much Irish moss will prevent head retention. 1g is enough.
  • Don’t forget to prepare a couple of bottles for racking day
  • Glitter sinks to the bottom, best saved for a glass that can be poured in one go
